Statement to the Membership
To all the members of the Irish Airsoft Association
It has come to my attention that there is some concern over the absence of our Chairperson Oisin McGovern from official functions and events to do with the IAA. In hindsight I should have made a public statement about this quite a while ago.
Due to personal circumstances Oisin has taken an extended leave from his duties as chair. In his absence, Vice-Chair, Ronan Lowe, has been fulfilling Oisin’s duties (with the full support of the rest of the committee) as well as his own as is expected of the Chair/Vice-Chair system.
In the mean time, you can still expect the committee to be functioning at full capacity and acting as a driving force in securing the future of airsoft in Ireland as well as encouraging the growth of the community. With Cork coming online with the a huge number of players and lots of facilities for play and retail, as well as Galway and a number of other areas following suit, things are looking bright!
Kind regards,
Conor Scolard
